The coaching staff at Mountain View High School runs deep in experience. We are committed to teaching the skills and developing the strength necessary to build confidence physically, mentally, and socially.
About Rusty Pagano
Coach Rusty Pagano brings over 20 years of high school football coaching experience and has served as the defensive coordinator and defensive back coach at MVHS since 2005.
Coach Pagano began coaching as a GA at Cal Poly in 1992. He coached one season (1993) at San Luis Obispo High School (CA) and spent two (1994-95) seasons at Phoenix Alhambra High School. He then moved to Dobson High School and coached there for four seasons (1996-1999). He also served as head coach at Pueblo East High School (CO) for five seasons (2000-2004).
Coach Pagano is the head strength and conditioning coach and is also the physical education department chairman at Mountain View.
About Jared Stone
Coach Jared Stone is in his second year at Mountain View High School and in his seventh year coaching overall. Coach Stone was a varsity letter winner in football, wrestling, and track. He ran track for Glendale Community College before transferring to play linebacker for two years at Arizona Western College in Yuma, Arizona. Football runs in the family for Coach Stone. His stepfather was a lineman at University of Montana and his grandfather played linebacker at Washington State University and University of Denver. Coach Stone spent five years as the JV head coach and the varsity linebacker coach at Mingus Union High School in Cottonwood, Arizona.
Coach Stone is a study hall and physical education teacher at Mountain View as well as an Arizona certified history teacher.

About Bill Roberts
Coach Bill Roberts has over 20 years of coaching experience at the high school level and has been a member of the MVHS coaching staff for over seven years. He has coached freshman to varsity level football.
Coach Roberts earned his bachelor of science degree in physical education and a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Southern Utah University in 1990 and earned his masters degree in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University in 1995. He is happily married with seven awesome kids.
